FAQ

Which configuration is best for a walk in town? Short mode (120 cm) is the most suitable: it keeps your dog close to you, a real plus near traffic or in a crowd.

Can you really walk two dogs with the same lead? Yes, the double lead configuration spreads out the attachment points to limit tangles, as long as both dogs already walk nicely on the lead.

Does the lead stay strong after several washes? Yes, as long as you stick to the recommended hand wash at 30 °C; machine washing or higher temperatures can wear the material out faster.

Can this lead be used with a no-pull harness? Yes, it works just as well with a collar as with a harness, including our no-pull Y models.

FAQ

Dog leads: frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Contact us
Which lead should I choose for my dog?

It depends on your dog's behaviour and the type of walk.
Classic leads suit most outings, while multi-way leads are really handy for different uses (town, off-lead walks, hands-free).

What's the difference between a classic lead and a multi-way lead?

- A classic lead keeps the same distance between you and your dog, which is good for training or for effective control
- A multi-way lead has several attachment points and can be worn around the waist or across the body, which is ideal for brisk walking or hands-free walks.

Which lead is best for a dog that pulls?

Dogs that pull do best with a lead that's:
- designed with a strong clip,
- fitted with a comfortable handle,
- made from a hard-wearing material,
- and ideally used with a no-pull harness.

Short leads give the best control.

Which lead should I choose for a puppy?

A light, supple, adjustable lead is ideal for the first walks.
This type of lead makes learning to walk on a lead easier and adapts as your puppy grows, without weighing them down.

Which lead is best for walks in town?

Town walks call for more control.
Short leads with a comfortable handle are the best fit.
They keep your dog close to you in busy places.

How do I care for a dog lead?
  • Nylon and polyester: wash in lukewarm water with mild soap.
  • PVC: just wipe with a damp sponge
Are multi-way leads really useful?

Yes, they're the most versatile leads:
- quick to adjust,
- worn around the waist or over the shoulder,
- can walk two dogs at once, depending on the model,
- hands-free for running or walking.

They offer a great balance between freedom and control.
