The Goofy Goldens story
The story begins with the meeting between Lisou, a beautiful Golden Retriever, and RĂ©mi, her partner in adventure. Inseparable for more than eight years, they have helped each other through life's ups and downs. Deeply touched by the unconditional love his beautiful Lisou gave him, always there in the best and worst moments of his life, RĂ©mi quickly made rescuing mistreated dogs his cause.
For this duo, it was unthinkable that dogs so full of love and devotion for their humans should not be treated with the respect and affection they deserve. Volunteers for several years with animal welfare charities, they take in and rescue abandoned or mistreated dogs, giving them a cosy corner in their home until these pups find the family they deserve.
Thanks to them, Chouquette, Benji, ArĂšs, Youki, Liroy, Neptune, Ulane and Tosca have found their families for life. And the fight goes on! In the meantime, Seven, another Golden Retriever, has joined the duo to help them rescue as many dogs as possible.
An idea born of a need
In this fight against cruelty, RĂ©mi really wanted to give the dogs he took in new, colourful accessories, a symbol of a happy, joyful fresh start. Unfortunately, he soon came up against reality: most dog accessories only come in plain, dull colours.
One day, over a family meal, RĂ©mi shared his wish to find colourful, cheerful accessories with his brother Thomas, an engineer living abroad at the time and also passionate about dogs. The two brothers quickly had the idea of combining their skills and knowledge to make the impossible possible.
The birth of Goofy Goldens
And so Goofy Goldens was born. Founded by two dog lovers, the company designs and sells collars, harnesses, leads, accessories and beds for happy, stylish dogs.
